I had a disappointing experience during my 2-night stay at this restaurant. The room was nice, but there was a damp patch on the wall and the bathroom was in poor condition with tiles coming away from the wall and mold around the shower tray. I couldn't even wash in the bathroom due to the disgust it made me feel. There were also damp and mold on the walls where they met the ceiling. The room was a good size with a comfortable bed and clean linen, but the placement of the green fire exit light and flood light from the car park kept us awake at night. The corridors and breakfast room were overly cleaned with bleach daily, giving off an overwhelming smell. There was a hand sanitizer station with mold growing in the gel. Despite the good breakfast and service from the staff, the overall cleanliness of the establishment was lacking. I would not choose to stay here again, as the pub/hotel has potential but needs better hygiene practices and maintenance.

The hotel was lovely. We booked 2 doubles,, both were spotlessly clean, comfortable and lots of room. Huge beds. Food in evening and breakfast was fabulous. Good range of drinks in bar. Parking on site. Great hosts. Would recommend.

This restaurant has clean and affordable rooms, with friendly hosts. I stayed here on a Saturday night and was greeted by the new owners who were very welcoming. I have been coming to this pub for many years with family and friends. They offer a great selection of beers and delicious food. The rooms next to the pub are a good value for the price, and I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Excellent stay lovely night and an amazing cooked breakfast nothing was too much trouble will definitely be back great value for money thank you all again
