Food was great and the place is very well kept. Only down side was the servers. There's nothing wrong with hiring young people, if they good work ethic. However, in this case, you have a few servers in the background being boisterous. This is only my opinion, but for such a nice place, professional behavior is expected.
Service was slow and there was hardly any traffic dining in. Lots of staff and still had wait over an hour for my food. Customer service is poor and needs work. Workers were standing around and not tending to the orders.
We had not been here in a year! The last time we were the service was terrible but TODAY... everything was FANTASTIC! Our food was fresh, it came out in a timely manner, and our waitress Jezebel was amazing. We spoke with the manager, Dakota, and he is on top of things. Dakota, thanks for raising the standard in Brownsville.
Ordered several items: 2 types of rolls, sunomono salad and 2 appetizers. Both the Ebi Spicy and Calamari were cold and the calamari was overcooked. The other items were very good. We had to wait 1 Hr to get our order in comparison to 30 min estimated time. Overall I would order again except for the calamari.
