Bidra med feedbackWe enjoyed an anniversary dinner with friends that was made even more special by the service and the food. We were served by the owner who was knowledgeable, friendly and personable. The 3 couples all chose selections from the table d’hote menu and were all pleased with the food and the presentation. We are looking forward to our next meal there!
The service was excellent. The menu offers a wide variety, even tartare de kangourou. The food was very well presented and tasty. Homemade soup.I plan to go back soon.Hope to try their appetizers.
Always difficult to handle a large family reception, they have a large table a bit outside the main restaurant for the occasion, but a bit of a hard time keeping up with who ordered what. Aside from this, the food choices are very interesting, and varied througout the seasons. I chose the Veal Liver with bacon sauce. Bacon sauce is mostly the cooking juices and 2 strips of bacon though. It came with a side of pan-roasted vegetables and baked potato. Meat was well cooked and the sides were tender and lightly, but well seasoned. They have a good price on a meal for 2 that includes a bottle of wine, so it's a perfect getaway for couples in a charming little place.
Eating at this restaurant is a great culinary experience. the chef is creative and we eat there many times a year. Service is attentive.
We were visiting friends and hiking in the nearby area (Lachute, the Laurentians) and our girlfriend from the area suggested this venue. Unassuming and understated, this restaurant seemed like it was tucked away neatly in Brownsburg-Chatham for both Quebecers and Ontarians to enjoy! The ambiance so warm and welcoming, we felt right at home. I enjoyed the cod (catch of the day) served with a stuffed tomato and wonderful, wonderful, wonderful fries. These were the best fries I have ever had!!!! Delicieux, vraiment un repas gastronomique!!!
