Good home cook reminds you of your grandma cooking. I had the chicken stable, the sweet pea meal, and my son had the red beans and rice with the broken rabbit. It's all delicious. Then we ordered 4lbs frozen bougain to go.

OMG the food is amazing and the price for lunch (that I could not eat that everything was a go box) was much less than most places I was, but you can not beat their service at any price!!!!

We stopped in at the recommendation of our friend in Broussard, and we are sure glad we did! Home-cooked comfort food, lovingly made by the couple/team who have been serving it for 50 years!! So good! And today we are enjoying some of the best boudin we brought home with us. You must try this specialty!!

Down home “plate lunch”. What’s cooked for the day are your only choices. Those choices are great and plenty to fill up a healthy appetite. One of the choices today was chicken and sausage gumbo and it was spot on. If you get close to the place during lunch, ya gotta go.
