Mcalister's Deli - Broussard

I was so excited for this location, as it’s my favorite restaurant. We ordered from there a couple times a week and never had an issue. Until last week when I ordered the club sandwich and got food poisoning horribly. My family ate there as well and had different things and they didn’t get sick like me. It had to be bad ham that I had. It was an awful experience that makes me never want to order from you guys again. It’s pretty disappointing and was an overall miserable experience.

Today was my second time having McAllisters. The food was hot and good quality products were used. But more importantly, the service was excellent. My husband and I drove two towns over to come here because we felt very welcomed the first time. We will absolutely be back.

Macaroni and cheese was very cold and my sandwich was cold as well. Good service though.

Food tasted good. BUT, might I suggest, TAKING THE PAPER OFF THE CHEESE BEFORE YOU PUT IT ON THE FOOD. Yes a bite was taken out of the paper.

Jalapeno Turkey Crunch was great with side of Broccoli Cheese soup. Smoked turkey, jalapeño spud chips, bacon, pepper jack, avocado and mayo on toasted jalapeño roll
