Bidra med feedbackI. Love. Maison. Yaki. Delicious food, amazing service, and great ambience. Sit at the bar and chat with the chefs if you can, it absolutely adds to the experience! I loved watching them make our food and talk about their upcoming specials. Super talented folks in that kitchen. My favorites were the Duck L?orange, Duck Rillete, Scallop skewers, and oyster mushroom skewers. They have fantastic cocktails too! Definitely recommend.
Our experience started with the hostess who was not very friendly. We tried to engage and make some light convo but we?re met with complete stiffness. There were very limited vegan options, the pickles and a salad, so I dove into some vegetarian items. The house bread was really overpriced. 4 small pieces for $10 and it did not leave an impression. The radicchio salad was quite fresh and tasty and they were able to put the goat cheese on the side. The mushroom sandwichcould have been so amazing but it was just so so. I couldn?t really feel the texture of the oyster mushrooms, just a lot of pickled veggies. The device was quite slow, we often had to wait a long time for the server. While the interior Iwas nice and cute, I probably won?t be coming back. Sustainability rating: average. Single use Napkins but reusable dining ware.
We had a fantastic meal at Maison Yaki. Outdoor patio in rear was comfortable, though a neighboring A/C was quite loud. The food made up for that minor shortcoming. Every plate was delicious and interesting. Pacing was perfect and service was attentive. Not a cheap meal but it lived up to its price point. Highly recommended.
This place is yummy but expensive. I had the scallops, the cauliflower okonomiyaki, and the asparagus almondine. All were great. The hostess is a bundle of friendliness, and very helpful (she put my ice cream in the freezer while i contemplated their menu). The bartender, Jordan, (Wednesday night) was fun, attentive, intelligent (and cute). All in all, I will come back here, . . . When i. Am feeling wealthier! Lol. Nice vibe for a date, and soft lighting.
Had dinner here with a couple of friends and sat outside which was the perfect place to people watch. The service was downright some of the best service ever, they know the menu inside and out and that's a huge accomplishment, as there are lots of details to each dish. We had two different waitstaff helping us with making decisions on what to order, and they were both Incredibly helpful, attentive, and so friendly they kept us smiling the entire time we were there. The food is just so good. Japanese with a French twist. The mushroom, scallops, pork belly skewers were some of my favorites but everyone ended up having their own favorites too. Fun place to go and share dishes. Cocktails also hit the spot. Thank you Maison Yaki for a thoroughly wonderful dining out experience !
