Bidra med feedbackWe visited the restaurant during a quiet time due to COVID-19, allowing us to enjoy a delicious meal early on. However, like many other establishments, the lights were dimmed at a certain point, which we found to be a tacky habit. This detracts from the overall dining experience, as food should be appreciated both for its taste and presentation. We hope that the owners reconsider this practice. Perhaps they could survey their customers to see if dimming the lights is a deciding factor in their decision to dine there. Personally, I believe that the quality of the menu would still attract customers regardless. However, I may have to think twice about returning, as I value being able to clearly see my companions and the food on my plate.
Dining at this restaurant is always a fantastic and enjoyable culinary experience. The service is incredibly friendly and attentive, and the wine selection is also excellent.
My wife, Cynthia, and I celebrated Valentines 1 day late as we had been traveling. Our dinner was great, service excellent, great wine choice as well. We will be back!
The restaurant's location was excellent, with a great atmosphere that was both lively and semi-casual. The food was a truly amazing experience, with high-quality ingredients and unique dishes that justified the slightly higher prices. Overall, it was a fantastic evening!
We had the mushroom fondue to start and the boar chop, venison stew and salmon (between 3 of us). Everything was delicious but the boar and venison were particular stand outs. The meat was fork tender and flavorful. And the service was wonderful. They even kindly surprised us with a strawberry parfait on the house, which was a lovely end to a lovely meal. Would definitely go back to try more of the menu!
