Bidra med feedbackEnjoy a few beautifully designed and delicious cocktails as well as a tasteful bite. I recommend the isla jeju for the Mezcal enthusiast, who is a little sweet with her smoking. the oi minteu was also crisp and refreshing! we just tried to get the galbi jjim short-rib out of this trip, but will certainly be back to check some other menu items. the flesh was succulent and slipped off the bone! Do not wait to come to a dachbble!
Excellent food. Excellent drinks. Excellent service!! Next time I'm in NY I will definitely come back here to eat.
Really made my dear friend feel special on her birthday. Thank you to the owner and staff for going above and beyond!
When I heard there was a Korean rooftop in Williamsburg I was dying to go. I think I was looking forward to going here so long that when I finally did it just wasn't as exciting as I had hoped. I wasn't a huge fan of the drinks and just wasn't thrilled with the atmosphere overall.
East Hae really took me by surprise between the ambience, service and delicious bites they really provide a top notch experience. When you arrive take the elevator up to the roof (or the stairs if you're feeling ambitious). They have a large airy green space with a covering during rainy/cold days that makes for a hip and trendy ambience. At this point you really don't need a reservation as there is plenty of space. They have a great menu of cocktails including the huchi which was a spicy tequila based drink that perfectly complimented the kick of the dishes. Speaking of which apparently they just got a new chef who previously worked over at Osamil and his menu is bomb! Every single dish was phenomenal. My favorites were the squid fries (similar to fried calamari) that came with a gochujang and soy wasabi dips. SO good. We also loved the oysters fresh, juicy and also with a gochujang-based cocktail sauce that we loved. Other standouts included the steak tartare and the bossam (delectable I was so impressed by this menu and, as a Korean, my standards are high for modern Korean food. But in addition to the food, what really made the experience was our waiter Dorian. He was THE BEST. From beginning to end he was so welcoming and nice and gave us great guidance on the menu. He made sure that our drinks were full and the food came out at a great pace. I can't say enough good things about the service here. Overall, this place is a total gem. The ambience, food/drinks, and the service really make it a perfect place for a group of friends. Highly recommend.
