Cafe 232 - Brooklyn

I love going to Phil's, it's my favorite neighborhood spot. They have the best egg sandwich and the service is always great. Even when I get takeout, the food is still delicious and packed well.

I used to love the ex-boyfriend toast at this restaurant, which was always filled with cream cheese and jam. However, my recent orders have had very little cream cheese and mostly just jam. I may just start making them at home. On the bright side, the coffee smoothie is still delicious!

Food was really good, loved the bread, but the lemonade was made from old lemons and mop water. Completely undrinkable. The smoothies were also very icy so they were either made with freezer burned frozen fruit, refrozen, too much ice, and/or not blended completely.

The ex-boyfriend toast is amazing. Also a great study space if you want to come by in person!

I accidentally selected pickup instead of delivery, so my girlfriend and I ended up going to the restaurant to pick up our food. We decided to dine in at the charming cafe and enjoyed our meal. The BCLT and Ex Boyfriend sandwiches were delicious, and the cappuccinos were also very tasty. We will definitely be returning soon!
