Blue Agave - Brooklyn

This restaurant is our favorite spot for our monthly get-togethers because they have amazing cocktails, friendly service, and delicious food. Taco Tuesday is a must-try, and their outdoor patio is beautiful when the weather is nice. I just wish they were open in the winter.

My wife and her friend visited this restaurant a few weeks ago and couldn't stop talking about it, so I decided to try it myself. I'm so glad I did because the food was amazing. I started with a house salad, which was quite good. For my main course, I had the Ropa Vieja, which is shredded hanger steak in a tomato-based sauce with peppers. The meat was tender and packed with flavor, definitely something I would order again. My wife tried the Chicken Fajitas, and she was impressed with how well the chicken, peppers, and onions were cooked – not overdone at all. The sides were fresh and full of flavor, and the guacamole was on point. The waitress was pleasant and did a good job. My wife also enjoyed a white sangria, which she said was good. The only downside to this place is its small size and the presence of a noisy bar in the front, where I had to endure a loud woman ranting about her failed attempt to emigrate to Canada when Trump was elected president. Overall, though, the food and service were excellent for the price. If it weren't for the loud and obnoxious customer, I would have given this place 5 stars.

My friend came to town and we decided to have brunch at this restaurant. We ordered choriqueso and also had micheladas. The michelada was delicious, with chamoy and tajin on the rim and made with clamato. The restaurant wasn't too crowded, and the service was very accommodating and friendly. We were treated well and had a great time.

Our go to for taco Tuesday! Great food, rlly good frozen margs in a cute little backyard space.

The food and service was amazing. We all had a great time and we plan to come back.
