The Brownstone - Brookings

Always good. My brother said the meatloaf was the best he's had. I like that they have sweet potatoes. I wish there was a bathroom on the same level for the sake of handicapped customers.

The service was excellent, and our meal was served promptly. However, the interior of my prime rib sandwich resembled what you might expect from a frozen patty that had been cooked in a panini press. Unfortunately, the flavor matched its unappealing appearance.

The food was incredible! The New York strip, drizzled with a balsamic vinaigrette reduction and topped with hand-stacked feta cheese and tomato slices, was beautifully presented. Kudos to the chef! I also tried the bacon truffle pasta, and it was simply magical—nothing more needs to be said. The architecture and decor created a relaxed atmosphere, making it a perfect setting to enjoy a meal.

I've dined here twice, and I can confidently say that you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The sirloin steak and truffle pasta are outstanding. I also enjoy the Stella water for mixed drinks. The atmosphere is charming. This is definitely one of my favorite places to eat in Brookings.
