We tried the clam chowder in a broth bowl and it was delicious. The restaurant offers a lovely view of the river and generous portion sizes at affordable prices. We will definitely be returning.

Absolutely delicious cod fish and chips! This is hands down the best I've ever had. The fish was fresh, hot, and perfectly flaky on the outside, with a clean and flavorful large piece of fish inside. The tartar sauce was also fantastic. The staff was friendly and the service was wonderful. As a resident of Brookings, this is now our go-to spot for top-notch food and excellent service.

This restaurant is a fantastic place to eat! The terrace is great, the service is even better, and the food is delicious. Cindy, the owner, seated us and took our drink orders. We were just passing through and had eaten at a lot of places, but this was by far the best. We will definitely be returning. The terrace is perfect, the service is fast and friendly, and the view of the marina is beautiful. There are plants everywhere, creating a very nice atmosphere. I had the Baja tacos, which were very tasty, and the fish and chips were excellent. The shrimp was amazing and the drinks were delicious and refreshing. I highly recommend the Mermaid Muse and the Plank Go. Thank you, Cindy, for creating such a friendly and welcoming environment with your great staff and delicious food. We will definitely be visiting South-Oregon again in the future. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

What a wonderful restaurant! We decided to eat outside and my husband thought it was too cold, so they brought us two blankets an outdoor heater! The food was awesome, very fresh, and the service was great. The owners are very friendly and Peggy, thank you!
