Wasabi Sushi Lounge - Brookfield

Have not dined here in a while and the food is still solid based on some good recipes with proper seasonings and flavor. Service was awesome. Although the restaurant was slow when we arrived it started to pick up but our server had just the right tempo, not too rushed nor too slow when it came to our appetizers and main courses. She was very good at anticipating refills etc. we were very pleased. Two of us ordered the beef bibimbap which may be one of their signature dishes. We've had this here often and it is quite tasty with a nice mix of vegetables rice and meat. However last night the meat portion was way too small, much less than we used to get. It changed the flavor profile of the dish which became rice forward as the veggies do not add a lot of flavor. We didn't think it was good value for what we paid. This may have been an anomaly as we have had this here many times before but if it's now the new portion for this dish we will not be ordering it in the future.

Our first time here. When ordering our food, our waitress asked if we had any allergies. We both answered no. However, later that evening, we both had bad headaches. We're guessing it was because of the MSG in the food. Now we know why she asked about allergies.

Food good but the hostess that sat us down was very rude, I had requested a booth but she rolled her eyes and said “none” two booths were open

Food was good but overpriced. Service very slow. We were 1 of 3 tables. No quality check, or clearing dirty dishes. Our appetizer was gone very quickly and the dirty dish sat on the table as well as a few others.
