Pizza Express - BROMLEY

Me and a friend went to here today to grab something to eat. We had friendly welcoming and a great choice of seating. We both loved our pizzas and the starters were great. The overall experience was fantastic and I would recommend to anyone in the area to come here.

Ordered 3 children's meals, arrived after 97 minutes.. But wait, not 3 meals, just 1 small pizza, a spicy one that was inedible. Tried ringing the restaurant but no answer, got a refund from Deliveroo and will never use this branch again. As a note I then ordered 2 pizzas from Domino's in Orpington, 35 minutes later 2 perfect delivered pizzas at the door.

When I came in I was greeted with a beautiful smile, very efficient and the food was very good as usual I took a Calabrese. It was busy but the food arrived quickly.

Not a packed restaurant but the service was terrible. There were only 2 serving staff who were trying their hardest but failing because of the workload. It it not fair on them, expecting them to do the work of 6. When the pizzas arrived the food was good. Brexit continues to wreak its havoc.

We all expect a few glitches but this was one thing after another. Olives didn’t arrive so we chased them up, polenta chips didn’t arrive until half way through the pizza, no knife and fork, no pizza cutter, when I ordered a vegetarian pizza she tried to give me meat pepperoni and so it went on. Then we came to desserts they’d run out of many options according to the waiter so we asked him to find out what he had left and it turned out they had more than he thought. Wouldn’t mind so much but the waiting staff were so surly with it. Avoid this restaurant if you expect pleasant helpful service.
