Premier Inn Gloucester (little Witcombe)

We had booked for a couple over the Christmas period. Somehow and don't ask me how we did this but we messed up the dates for the booking. You can imagine the panic on an early Sunday morning when I looked at my calendar on the computer and realised the error. So at about 08.30am on a Sunday morning we phoned up Little Witcombe and Kerry answered our call. She was amazingly efficient and within an hour or so our mistake had been rectified. We are told by the people who have stayed there several times in the past this is an excellent hotel to stay in, friendly, good rooms and service. I can confidently say the customer services are excellent (thanks Kerry) and top marks to them.

Just 5 minutes off the M5 at Junction 11A, this small two storey hotel is in a quiet countryside location with free car parking and electric car charging facilities on site. It is complimented by the nicely themed Twelve Bells Beefeater restaurant adjacent. The rooms are not air conditioned and have opening windows, we stayed in the first floor in room 102 which was spacious, clean and had an electric fan. Service once again was excellent in the hotel and restaurant where we had evening dinner and breakfast the following morning. Good nice quiet location but still pub restaurant shops petrol station near by.
