Best halal Arabic cuisine in Astoria, Queens,NY. The food taste and presentation is very nice. But keep in mind it?s a little expensive because you must have to give one main course order for one person each. Worth to try it..

Great food and great service. Hard to get a table on Saturday night. My go to is the mixed grill platter. The chicken shawarma is great as well as the lamb kebab. The grilled chicken is very tender and juicy. THe price is fair for the quality and the portions that you receive. The place is very small though with only six tables. You'll be amazed at the great effort that they put in preparing and cooking the food in such a narrow kitchen (all of which is done in frontof you). They have a touch screen menu in the front if you want to order anything to go. It makes it very convenient for those that don't want to be seated or in a rush.

The inside space is a little too small for dine in, they do have an outdoor space that?s a little bigger. Their chicken Shawarma is probably the best shawarma I?ve had in NYC. I feel like the staff rushes you out the restaurant though, but hey it?s whatever, the food is absolutely delicious and that?s what matters. I would definitely go back, in fact, I have gone back multiple times. Highly recommended. PS it takes a long time to make the food, so order ahead of time or ifyou dine in go in with plenty of time.

I can?t believe this place only has a 4.2 when I?m writing this because the service AND chicken shawarma garlic sauce) blew me away. The chicken platter comes with two sides babaganoush fattoush) as well as grilled veggies and coleslaw. All hella delish. My boyfriend had the chicken shawarma supreme sandwich and enjoyed it a lot too, he said for New York shawarma, this place is REALLY GOOD. We also tried the falafel, didn?t love those as much but didn?t matter.We sat in their back outdoor-ish room and really enjoyed the atmosphere sipping on mint lemonade. Zyara is a totally special place and I?d absolutely come back next time I?m in Astoria!

Finally a place of flavors, history and home. Authentic, smokey , grilled , flavorful, never ending the list goes on. Every item on their menu is the best. Amazing staff , seating is limited but the wait is worth it. Grill platter the best. I?m so glad I came here. I enjoyed it.
