I have walked past this place so many times in Astoria without realizing it's a top notch Italian restaurant. It wasn't until I saw the video clip of the restaurant owner dining outside in a blizzard that went viral that I became curious about this place. Chef Rocco sets the tone for his restaurant. He's very passionate about what he does, and it shows in his food, the ambiance, and the staff. We started with the fennel salad and the grilled Octopus, which were outstanding. Our main courses were the short ribs that melted in your mouth and the fish special, which was Hake cooked in a red sauce that was so delicious.

One of the best places for fine Italian dining in all of NYC, let alone Queens. Chef Rocco knows what he is doing.
