Smith Mills - Broad Channel

The website said they were open until 2am, but the staff promptly kicked us out by 10pm. So unfortunately because I was having a lovely time with my date, and the waiter told us “ok time to go home now”. I've been living in NYC for 15 years and I've never heard a waiter say that. This poor service hasn't sullied my feelings toward Smith and Mills, but it also doesn't help. The hispanic bus boy and the hispanic girl working tonight (8/18) were rude. Our group decided not to have drinks there.

We loved it here. Service was very attentive and super nice. We had the cherry tart as a dessert, which was amazing!

It’s a really cool indoor space. Drinks and food are good but post-Covid they don’t have enough staff to cover the indoor and outdoor space with servers. It took way too long to get drinks, food, etc.

Brunch Spot… Very cool ambiance in this Tribeca location. Was a beautiful saturday afternoon, extremely cool waiter took care of us.
