Skylight Diner - Broad Channel

This was 17 dollars which I will never eat at this place again. What a rip off 3 nuggets and a hand full of fries. Fu**ing embarrassing they should be ashamed to charge that much money fot this. I asked for BBQ sauce and got honey mustard morons!!!!!!!

Slowly the traditional NYC dinner is going extinct. A traditional diner with a vast menu. Fresh Coffee and generous portions of bacon, eggs, and homefries. This is not Michelin star-rated dining. Just good old-fashioned comfort food. Not pretty, just good.

It's a diner. It's not going to have gourmet steaks or fresh salmon, but it's going to have chocolate chip pancakes and mozarella sticks that are great and hot. I've been here multiple times, whether it be right after a concert or seeing a friend before they get on a train at 11 am. The staff are polite and the food comes out quick. The bathrooms need new soap dispensers though. That's New York City though.

The potato salad here was delicious! It was nicely plated on lettuce, was freshly made with the potato skins included, and there was just the right amount of hard boiled egg included.

I have ordered from Skylight diner a number of times in the past and it was ok- very average, edible diner food. Tonight I ordered a burger, medium, and it arrived raw in the center... my last order from Skylight for sure.
