Owner is an absolute gem of a human. Not only that, but all the food is made in house and delicious! If JG is full this might be your best bet.

This has been a long time fave of mine. I used to live in this area (I moved about 14 blocks north) and have had many good memories here. It is a classic American bar and restaurant. Never too packed and such a chill place. Great drinks and food and always very friendly service. I don't know what it is about the antique smell in here, but it always elicits reminiscent feelings and an atmosphere of comfort. This will always be my go to spot in this neighborhood!
