Bidra med feedbackVery tasty and quick service. Has soup dumplings: amazing and beef buns: would be better not fried.
3.5 stars overall, take out service was pretty quick. I got my food in twenty minutes and it was a large order. Passed by this place by accident as I was looking for parking. Didn 't even think of grabbing food but who can resist soup dumplings. Ordered two orders of soup dumplings they were sizeable dumplings and the pork was good. Broth inside was fine but not memorable. must try the grilled pork chop over rice, very reminiscent of the Vietnamese style dish. Pork portions were generous and tender. The fish sauce it was served with completed the flavor profile as expected... The onions and carrots were exactly like a viet dish. Great value! beef Chow Fun was quite tasty as well. Good wok hay as we say in Cantonese. Translates to good stir fry texture. Shanghai rice cake was decent. More wet than expected and again, lacked greens (normally cabbage). Still good but I would 've wanted more veggies. scallion pancakes, good appetizer but it just didn 't travel well. The heat created condensation in the take out box, they should have used different packaging to allow it to vent but still stay warm. fried pork dumplings wor teep as they say. Good texture and tasty. Overall a solid spot,I guess dining in would 've been better for the food choices I made. If I 'm ever in the hood at the right time, I 'll give it a return visit.
I received spoiled chicken dumplings, the buy one get one free to be exact. The soup was ok. I've ordered here before, this wasn't the best experience.
Legitimately bad quality food. Everything we ordered was off. General tso's chicken was stringy, very doughy, and not very flavorful. The chicken corn soup tasted like some other kind of soup, and the seafood noodles barely had any sauce or flavor. The pork soup dumplings were also blend and on appetizing. I would have much rather had a great new place to order from but unfortunately this was not even worth saving leftovers, and I'm not one to throw away foood.
This place doesn't get the recognition it deserves. I used to eat pho here a lot during my college days before the pandemic and it was always really good and affordable. And it still is! My family and I love their salted fish, chicken fried rice and the crispy garlic ribs! The flavors are always on point.
