Iva’s Sweet Parlour - Broad Channel

Love me some Iva’s. one of the top bakery I visited, walk-in never disappointed and I just order for my baby first birthday 2 cakes. They nailed each one. Love how they take care every detail I ask. On time. And the cakes omg delicious perfect love it. Thank you guys.

Believe the other reviews mentioning the weird laundry detergent taste because the same happened to us. The cakes had a chemical taste that was so strong and disgusting. We got three things from here and none of them were even edible. I took a bite of two of the cakes and had stomach issues afterwards. It seems that the two other reviews mentioning this issue were also posted recently. Please figure out what’s causing this. We had high hopes going in but ended up feeling sick and disappointed

Decided to give this place a try on Ubereats and I say this place has lots of potential…sadly what we ordered kind of tasted like it was sitting for a day or two, there was a strong taste…kind of like when something picks up a smell/taste of its surroundings. I can’t be too harsh on this place it was a weekday and close to closing…Textures we’re good I just wish it was fresh…It would have made a huge difference…I will have to give them another shot…

The most disgusting thing I have ever had. We got a red velvet cake and it was stale and tasted like laundry detergent. We were unable to take another bite. Even after warming it up in the microwave a little, it was still disgusting. First time ever in my life had to throw away a cake.

The flan was good but the the strawberry short cake was amazing
