Plenty of better places but the food is solid and it’s an easy reservation. I liked the mushroom lasagna

New fave go to on Park Ave. all salads are great’ beets, meatballs, pomodoro. Order rose, have lunch and sit outside

Drinks and vibe are excellent, but food is hit or miss. My chicken had so much flavor but was wildly over cooked and tough which ruined it. Pasta was pretty good. I thought tuna tartare was fishy.

After strolling around Union Square on Sunday we decided to try Isabelle’s Osteria. The hostess was pleasant and took us to our table. Our server Barbara came to the table and greeted our family nicely. We asked for suggestions and a few items that we loved were fried chicken waffles, poached eggs and mushroom lasagna. We couldn’t get enough! I would recommend this place and our server over and over again.
