Hanoi Soup Shop - Broad Channel

Went for the Vietnamese coffee and egg coffee. No complaints. Did not order food. Just wanted strong coffee!

I actually laughed out loud at how terrible the desserts were. Soft serve was the smallest portion you could imagine like barely over the cone edge. Cookie was hard as a rock and tasted like salty cardboard.

Bun cha FTW and they have bia Hanoi on draft to round out the experience. Bia Hanoi is about $0.50 in Hanoi, $6 here

A casual counter service place with about 10 bar stools. The options are limited but the flavor is big. I tried the classical pho with oxtail: the soup was so rich and the meat tender. The fat melted in my mouth. I can't wait to go back to try the sandwich and rice. A must have for the coming up cold days in Manhattan. *Updated in 202002: from recent visits Ive experienced inconsistent quality in food and the service. Sadly I decreased the rating to 4
