Just great food! Loved the salad and apps especially!

I have been enjoying Giorgio’s of Gramercy for more than 13 years. The food, staff and ambiance were superb then. There has been a steady decline. After my experience on Friday, 11/12/2021, I will not return. The food was acceptable. The music was offensive.The service was atrocious. Clearly, no training has been given newer servers on how to be polite and finesse the guest. This is one of my favorite spots in the area. The pasta is great (squid ink linguini and pappardelle braised short rib rago are my favorites) and the wine menu is extensive. For apps, the charred octopus and the burrata are a great choice.

I stopped at Giorgio’s for an impromptu dinner and it exceeded all expectations. I had the bet salad and it was amazing. All beets and veggies and no lettuce, but it was delicious. I had the fettuccini with mushrooms and added grilled chicken, for my main. It was absolutely delicious. The bartender, David, was also incredible. He knew the menu and drinks like the back of his hand and served the bar with graceful ease. I will definitely be going back.

Celebrated my birthday here! Food was delicious(steak, shrimp, lobster, pasta, etc) AND drinks on point! Petros the staff provided excellent service. 5 stars.
