Cafe Du Soleil - Broad Channel

My husband and I went for dinner last night and it was really bad. We ordered the grilled sardines as an appetizer. They were dry and pretty tasteless. I ordered the lamb shank for dinner, and my husband got the coq au vin. Portions were incredibly stingy, and the meat in both of our dishes was just hard and tasteless. We dined at this restaurant on New Year's Day and it was really nice. We were seated in an outside pod which was heated. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was good. We started off with drinks: mimosa, bellini mango, and raspberry ginger mocktail. The drinks were refreshing. Ordered the salmon — tasteless and over cooked — also ordered chicken which was not bad but the accompanying potatoes were old and dried up. Would not recommend-the service was good.

Really great happy hour. $6 quality cocktails and $12 delicious burger.

October 2022 Update: Returned for dinner snce it'd been some time since the below and we wanted to give this place another chance. Food is still lacking, the service has gotten better.
