Viet Flavor - BRISTOW

During my visit to my family in Virginia, I stumbled upon this restaurant after searching for about 30 minutes for a nearby vegan option (which is quite a challenge in this part of the state!). I noticed that several dishes on the menu could be made vegetarian, and upon further investigation, I found that most of them could be adapted to be vegan as well. I called ahead to inquire about the broth used in their vegetarian pho (which was vegetable-based) and asked if I could order their fried rice without any animal products, and they gladly accommodated my request. Their spring rolls are both vegan and delicious! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful throughout my inquiries. I ended up visiting the place twice during my five-day trip. It truly is a gem in an unexpected location. I will definitely return on my next visit!
