A great friendly pub, a country pub atmosphere in a city centre, I would highly recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Amazing lively quick service. The student deal was incredible and really affordable. Definitely will be visiting again.

Can’t fault the two young ladies behind the bar, very helpful and welcoming. Unfortunately the food did not live up to the menu. Starter of squid, overdone. Sword fish overdone, very dry. Lamb shank, couldn’t taste anything but the red wine jus as it was so strong (food was swimming in it). The menu is so vast maybe they need to reduce it and do fewer things better.
