We went with the kids after a long walk through the cold Bristol Harbourside. At first glance the menu seems expensive, but list prices include chips and a side order, not bad. Three of us ate less than £20 Beverages Inc., and had a good old chip and sausages with chips or cakes. I would say that this place is very popular among retired people and elderly people as there are very good offers, nothing bad with that, but there is not much room to get frameworks walking around the place. Service anyway good and enjoy.

This is my second test and I have to say that things have gone downhill. We used to go regularly for a garlic mushroom entrance and very well cooked Rock and chips. In our last visit we felt that both had been taken out of the menu, the new owner saying that they do not like them. He pointed out that he must take care of his client's will, he does not like or dislike his own. I finished a large order of cod and fries (almost 9 pounds) for me and small for my partner. Mine seemed a bit strange when it came, flat, not fat as cod loin should be with small white flakes, my partner went well and certainly cod. The fish was delicious and hungry I ate more than I think it might have been the abbey. When the waitress asked us how the food told me they had not given me what I asked. The new owner, then proceeded to tell me I was wrong and taught me a freezer full of frozen cod packaging. Then I told him that I had been eating cod for the last 60 years, before he knew what it was. cod Long story they wouldn't let me pay for the food, which is very good, but they've lost a good customer.

I used to frequent Smiley's often until I learned about its low hygiene rating. Now that they have a 4-star rating, I decided to give it another try. My most recent visit was disappointing - while the fish was good, the chips were inedible. They were extremely hard on the outside, making it difficult to eat, and tasted greasy. I suspect they were precooked, possibly more than once, and reheated. I ended up not eating them and was not charged for them. The chips left me feeling unsatisfied and uncomfortable. Overall, I was disappointed with my experience and am unsure if I will return. I would give it 2 stars for the quality of the fish.

I have ordered takeout from this place multiple times and it is my favorite spot for fish and chips. The food is delicious and I highly recommend it. It's also a great value for the price.

Our choice has focused on this place close to our Airbnb for a lunch: a desire for fish and chips simply. The fish was good even if I think frozen. The fries were very good though few. A good time but can do better. I would say very well because to have tested other fish and chips, in Glasgow in particular, this one was still a wan above!
