Papadeli - Bristol, City of

Attended the Tuscan cookery class last night after receiving vouchers for Christmas. What a delight this experience was. Superb host with a friendly, efficient team supporting. Relaxed atmosphere, easy to follow instructions. We created some really tasty dishes, made with the finest ingredients. At the end of the night we ate our dishes and even took a doggy-bag home! Really nice hot chocolate and assortments of items from the deli. Nice shop with nicely displayed items. Just a shame their aren't more seats and no seating during December!

Papadeli pulled out all the stops in catering for our wedding this September. We live local to the shop and know it well through their excellent Middle Eastern cooking class and deli. When we found out they also do wedding catering it was an easy decision to ask them to produce the food along similar lines for our reception and the 'sharing feast ' that they produced was the talk of the day. We got married in Worcestershire so it was a big distance for them to travel from Bristol, both on the day and six months before the wedding, when Louise from Papadeli, who managed the event from start to finish, travelled up to recce the venue. We didn 't have what you 'd call a 'wedding planner ', we organised everything ourselves, but Louise was the closest to it and was available throughout the year leading up to our wedding to help us with all our enquiries about the food. What could have been one of the more hard-to-get-right bits of our wedding was the bit we worried least about. They also provided the cake, which were three of the delicious cakes we often eat in the shop, and were devoured so swiftly by our ravenous guests that the bride and groom didn 't get close to having a slice! We wouldn 't hesitate in booking them again, if we could only get married again!

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed visiting Papadeli during my time in Bristol (the last 4 years). From coffee and cake to a mix of salads !! Always amazing! Lovely staff, fab vibe will defo be returning when I am in Bristol again! Xxx

When we decided to get married as foodies our main priority was a great wedding breakfast. We rocked up with a million ideas and some how, magically, Lou and her team created our wedding meal of dreams. We gave them a short time frame to work from, very little information and just kinda expected them to know what we were after and they absolutely out did them selves! We went for a tapas style menu and there was not one thing I could fault. From food, to service, from cooks to waiters, every single aspect of Papadeli and their crew made our wedding everything we wanted and more. All our guests have done since, is wax lyrical about how unreal the food was and that was absolutely what we were after. Lou is a complete darling and took dealing with both mine and my husbands laid back carefree attitude in her stride. I could not recommend these guys enough, if I ever needed a party or event catered for again I wouldn't go anywhere else. Papdeli.....you guys rock!
