My family took advantage of the Groupon deal for Sunday lunch. The food was delicious and the service was friendly. We will definitely be coming back.

Seems false of me as I'm not a food connoisseur, the food was lovely but when it comes to portion size, let's just say I like a man size portion. The meals themselves tasted lovely and were well presented, the service was excellent and the choice was more than adequate. The drinks menu however I can only use the phrase extracting the urine. £6 for a bottle of beer, £19 for half litre of wine. Not somewhere I shall rush back to.

I had a mixed experience at this restaurant. My venison was delicious, tender, and paired perfectly with a generous green salad. It didn't need any extra sides. However, my partner's sausages and mash were bland and seemed to be overheated, possibly coming straight out of the microwave. This did not align with the "gourmet delight" that the website had promised.

The fixed menu is priced at £18.95 for three courses and you are encouraged to order everything at once when you are seated. We attempted to order the wine of the month as advertised on the walls but were informed after a significant wait that it was unavailable (on the 14th of the month!). One of our starters was incorrect, but it was promptly replaced. The restaurant was unclean with food debris from breakfast still visible at 1pm, and a sign welcoming guests to breakfast at the entrance. A torn paper napkin remained on the floor within view throughout our visit, just a few feet from other tables. The food was decent but unremarkable.

Wasn't expecting too much from this restaurant but we were very pleasantly surprised by how good food and also the service was! An all-round great meal and experience!! Thanks also to Maria and Tatiana for their very attentive and excellent service!
