Beautiful meal in lovely surroundings the steak was amazing. service excellent

Checked out Somer Dining for the 1st time 2 weeks ago and had a great experience so booked again this week to take other family members to try it. Unfortunately far from good. We had a late table and it showed in the quality of the food. All the food that came out was warm but not hot! The sirloin of beef was over cooked, the cauliflower cheese was watery and all the other vegetables were average. We were also informed that there were no Yorkshire puddings left which was not good. The waitress who served us was friendly and fairly efficient but it’s left me feeling gutted that I recommended it after our first visit. The last meals of the day should be as good as the first. I live on the Cadbury’s site and was very keen to support the restaurant. For a brand new venture it needs to be a lot more consistent.

My friends and I had a wonderful time enjoying a delicious afternoon tea at Somer Dining today. I highly recommend it.
