Verve Café - Brisbane

Found my pasta to be bland but edible and the service to be a little rude by one particular waitress. My friends didn't mind their dishes. I won't be in a rush to try this place again

This place was recommended to us, we were surprised how busy it was considering how hidden it is. The food is excellent and fresh delivered by friendly staff. Well worth a visit.

Maybe I am just getting too old for noise and extremely loud women on the adjoining table making it impossible to talk with everyone on our table. My grandson chose Verve for his family birthday dinner as it is a favourite with him and his brothers.We had enjoyed previous visits especially the food and it being a Cider House. However this visit proved disappointing. Previously I had loved the food but this time I ordered the ragout which was so very spicy and rich I was unable to eat more than a few mouthfuls. My husband likewise could not eat all his pork belly dish saying it was 'too strong'. We are both lovers of Italian food so we were surprised. Others in our group managed to finish theirs. We travel a round trip of 220 kilometres to dine here but if we come again, maybe I will stick to a pizza. Thankfully we could use our Entertainment Book vouchers for discount or it would have been a rather expensive uneaten meal

A basement restaurant with a great atmosphere- you could easily spend hours enjoying the ambience, meals and choices will keep you pondering for sometime. Great value, excellent food and beverages.

Busy, buzzy underground bar restaurant with a great ambience. Our one night out in Brizzy and we loved it. Great range of ciders and beers, excellent value set menu, friendly staff and delicious food with really fresh ingredients. Who could ask for more?!
