Bidra med feedbackCame for a last minute meal after discovering our fridge was empty, so glad we did. <br/ <br/ The service firstly was lovely, our server was so friendly and accommodating. After we arrived they had quite a mini rush and she managed it with a smile, everyone was seated and orders taken. <br/ <br/ Our drinks came out and I can’t recommend the Tara Refreshments enough, raspberry, mint and lime. Wow!! Along with $5 beers you can’t go wrong. <br/ <br/ Our entrees were lovely and then out came the coconut rice, well I could have eaten it on its own, beautiful flavour not too sweet or gluggy, I’m sure Goldilocks would have stopped at the first porridge here. <br/ <br/ We ordered the yellow curry and panang both lovely, nice flavours, chicken cooked perfectly. <br/ <br/ Most definitely will be bringing friends back again. <br/ <br/
Being so close to work I have dined at this place multiple times. Lunch special for 9.90 is hard to beat. Good food and fast service, they are also happy to customize your meal to your liking. What else can you ask for?
It's been a few months since I last visited Tara Thai but hoping to go back soon! Really affordable, heaps of vegetarian options and delicious. Would highly recommend the Pad Thai if it's your first time.
Thai food is definitely one of my favourite cuisines, and these guys have nailed it! <br/ <br/ I came on the weekend and it was quite busy which was a good sign for me immediately, we ordered a few starters and a curry between 2 of us, and we left feeling extremely satisfied.<br/ <br/ Really liked the curry puffs and the satay chicken! I almost always enjoy a Panang curry from most thai places i have been in Brisbane, and this was just as good as some of my other favourite places. <br/ <br/ Service was great, even though it was pretty busy. I will return for sure next time i am looking for Thai food in around the city/valley area.
Came here for the $9.90 lunch specials $12.90 if you want seafood as your main protein) and def a fave place to visit in fortitude valley during lunch hour. super busy at lunch hour but still received our orders in 15-20 minutes<br/ <br/ ordered gluten-free chicken drunken noodle. have also had pad thai in the past. nothing extraordinary but it was tasty, good hit of chill and well seasoned. a few vegetables broccoli, carrots) here and there, a decent amount of chicken, but mostly flat rice noodles similar to their pad thai in terms of portions). chicken was nearly overdone and bordering on dry. <br/ <br/ friend had seafood laksa that came with 2 different types of noodles. again, nothing superb but also not terrible either.<br/ <br/ not sure if they chance the portion sizes for dinner/their normal prices, but if it was the same size for dinner and i was paying $16+ i wouldn't be very impressed.<br/ <br/ the service was friendly ambience was good altho it did get hard to hear my friend talk with so many people in the restaurant. <br/ <br/ would come here again for the lunch hour specials
