Bidra med feedbackIt was Saturday night and the most popular Greek restaurant in the opposite was fully booked, so we went over the way to this address. we ordered the seafood plate and lamb plate. very little of it was fresh. the personal tried their best, but eating is under standard and it seemed that they knew it, and their heart was not in it. try it elsewhere.
Nice eating round and decent prices except the grilled otopus, paid $18 and got 6 tiny otopus that were quite burned and very chewy. and the service was pretty slow. waited 20 minutes for a waitress to come clear teller after the meal and wanted dessert, but was never offered a menu so after waiting for half an hour gave up and went. on payment of the eftpos machine has been broken, so was besides plucked to use the atm and was charged a fee. but the other thing that was good and I would come back.
There are several Greek restaurants in the neighbourhood and this is the weakest of the partie. the personal is friendly and the decor typical Greek. but eating is a good thing. prices are high for quality. with the competition in the opposite they would think they could lift the quality a bit.
We celebrated a friend's birthday at Kafe Meze. The staff set up a large table for us in the backyard where we had the place to ourselves. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly lady who showed us to our table, answered our questions about the menu, and made our experience enjoyable. The service was excellent, with all staff members being very friendly. The Greek food we ordered was standard fare, but it was all served hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. It was surprising to see that the restaurant wasn't very busy on a Saturday night between 5:30 and 8:30 p.m., but our food came out quickly. Even with a party of 15-20 people, everyone received their food at the same time.
The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere that reminds me of vacationing in the Greek Islands. The food is consistently fantastic, and anyone who loves Greek cuisine (which, let's be honest, is all of us!) should definitely visit and try it for themselves.
