Glee Fu Chinese - Brisbane

Best chicken rice I had in Brisbane!! Absolutely delicious with well seasoned chicken and aromatic rice. Simple, but perfect. Also the fish-scent eggplant was super delicious, but left a tasteful aftertaste on my tongue, which influenced my perception of other dishes. Not sure if this is a personal thing; maybe I am allergic to something in it? It was still great and the white rice was an amazing addition to the sauce. The cold cucumber bell was the perfect start for our meal. The restaurant is clean and comfortable, with furniture and decor that reminds me of my home country Malaysia. I love this charm. The staff were friendly and service was pretty fast. Overall a great experience and I look forward to tasting other dishes again.

Let me tell you about the Chinese Peppery Chicken with Rice. I love this court. It is Chinese style full of bones so that you can enjoy the aromas for age because it takes so long to eat. It's also a little sharp. And the peppercorns could blow your mouth a little bit. That's great. If you are too lazy to eat bones in chickens (what is wrong with you!? , there are some other good choices. The fried noodle with vegetable and bovine chicken is delicious. The restaurant is bare bones and functional. But the food is great, so it's all good. I would say the food here seems authentic Chinese, not excessively western.

My favs go home! Amazing traditional Chinese restaurant, and their hidden menus are amazing, you need to try their Braised Spicy pork ankles and Chinese pepper chicken when u like the Chinese spicy taste.

First time eating here and I already can't wait to come back! The staff were friendly, the atmosphere alluring, and the food heavenly. Can't compliment this place enough! Thank you Glee Fu!
