Cucina Bar and Restaurant - Brisbane

First off, drinks were brought out very quickly, so if you 're here to drink ONLY can recommend! 5/5. However, if you need food to fill your stomach.... I can 't recommend this spot. The gnocci tasted fine but was about a quarter of a bowl for $23... I ordered the chef 's special strawberry white chocolate cheesecake as I was still hungry and was incredibly disappointed. The cheesecake itself was stodgy, plain, and unadorned, and tasted like lard. The strawberry part was a single bruised strawberry on some weeping whipped cream, and strawberry flavoured syrup on the plate like the kind used for a milkshake. Also, the $1 extra scoop of icecream was tiny and tasted like freezer air.

Please note:Reading through the other reviews I've noticed that there are apparent problems with the gaming area, but for the purpose of this review I'll be focusing on the restaurant area.Booked a table for three online and the reservation went through without any hiccups, the service was awesome and the food ordered was great at both a price point as well as taste. Our food was not brought out super fast, I'd assume that this is to ensure quality of food before serving.The atmosphere was good, outdoor setting was great with the heaters on and low noise.The deserts were fantastic, and the plating of them was perfect.

Had lunch there yesterday. Awesome food and service. Rose was super helpful and lovely. Will be back

Just had our 2nd Xmas luncheon there for 20. Great food and service. Shona and her team were excellent.

Staff in gaming room are rude and make you wait while there chatting away and a bit dodgy with the keno I think, will find out when I check my keno on the keno site and see if they cancel the ticket and pocketed the money.
