Bread & Meat Co. Gourmet Sandwiches

This place was doing a fantastic trade, and it was good to see a different sort of food vendor pop up in the Valley mall. The sliders were great and the service was quick, I was disappointed to see this place shut down out of the blue.

Travelled to Fortitude valley specifically for this restaurant only to find it had closed.apparently they have no renewed their lease. No notification of this given on their website.

Has pretty good meals. Great staff. We've been there twice and was definitely better the second time.

Friends and I were this week visiting the now sadly deserted China Town area at Fortitude Valley. Nothing much was open or even tenanted and we fancied a coffee. It was VERY difficult to find a venue but eventually we stumbled across Bread Meat Co. Not the most comfortable seating but wow, the coffee was very welcome and enjoyable. We wished that we weren't headed to Yum Cha nearby as the food being served to other Patrons looked so delicious! Definitely worth a try.

If you are a Canadian living in Brisbane the poutine is excellent. Add a brisket sandwich and you have a winner. Must eat establishment. Try it Aussie's!
