Bidra med feedbackUpon entering Big Roddy's, you will immediately be greeted by the tantalizing smells emanating from the kitchen. The service was excellent and efficient. We decided to try the ribwich cattle breeze with corn on the cob as well as a full plate of pork ribs with corn bread. The food was enjoyable overall, although the pork ribs had a slightly strange taste that we weren't big fans of. However, the Basted Original BBQ sauce on the ribs was outstanding. The maple syrup butter served with the cornbread was also exceptional. In the end, it was a positive dining experience.
The burgers at this restaurant are expensive, especially with the additional 10% charge on Sundays. A word of caution to customers who may feel they are being overcharged. It is important for restaurants to set prices that allow them to cover their costs throughout the year. It is best to avoid dining here on Sundays and holidays.
On Saturday night, we had a reservation for 10 people at the restaurant. Upon arrival, our reservation was not found, but the staff promptly accommodated us at a table. The food was delicious with a good variety to accommodate all of us.
The focus of the Restraunt is American influenced grill. They nail some of the flavors, but the quality of the food is not there. Not the price tag, but worth an attempt if you haven't experienced this kind of food yet.
Whenever I'm in Brisbane, I always visit Roddys, the ribs are great and at a decent price as well. I can't recommend this place enough.
