Amphora - Brisbane

This is an unpretentious little restaurant with excellent service and high quality food. if they need an upscale romantic atmosphere, this can not be the place for them. If they want to cook high quality at a reasonable price, this will suit them. if I had lived in brisbane, I would often visit.

We have dined at this restaurant multiple times and always return because the food is delicious and fresh. The fact that it is BYO is a bonus, and the service is excellent. We will definitely be coming back again.

We were a party of 6 who arrived a few minutes before the opening. an hour later we waited for our net. when we asked, they said that we ordered the empty (a plate for the table to share), our...main order was still there. When we asked why others who arrived after us had already got single escape, net and we now dessert eating, we were told that the kitchen was first prepared the smaller tables because they knew they would be faster. accompanied by a very insincere apology. the food was hit and missed, that is, the chicken was very dry, and the vegetarian dish was opened like a dose and placed on a dish. the fish was very good and well cooked. they had only one can make koks available, and 3 doses cold pepsi max, so they offered some ice. we have been coming to this restaurant for many years, although we live on the other side of the city, because eating and service was always great. but not anymore. how some friends were treated to this evening meal, we were extremely disappointed and embarrassing. you lost us. I guess they're just interested in offering the tables of 2 not 6. they don't understand this business logic, but there they go, and there we go!

I drive by this lovely restaurant every day on my way to and from work, and I have finally had the opportunity to try its delicious food. I went with a group of 7 adults to celebrate my mother's birthday. The staff was attentive but not intrusive, and the food was both delicious and beautifully presented. We began with a shared platter that was diverse and flavorful. I chose a slow-cooked lamb shoulder from the specials menu, and I savored every bite. For dessert, we enjoyed galaktoboureko to finish off the meal.

I went to a gathering there with around 25 friends and was impressed with the menus choices. A family run restaurant with a great reputation. The Mezze platter was overflowing and my main course was fish, although next time I will choose the duck which...was being ordered by those in the know. The only downside is it is noisy, however the food quality more than compensated
