We're here for dinner on Thursday night. The staff was very friendly and the food was excellent. There are not many places to go for dinner in this small sleepy city, but this is probably one of the best in miles around.

The front of the restaurant will appeal to the desire for classic German charm of all American travellers. The cook is very well known and after a delicious and very tasty meal I understand why. The dishes are a combination of traditional German dishes, but they merge in an interesting new way. I had the roasted chicken breast with a mustard infused date crust. It was sweet, sharp and sour at the same time I was not sure what to expect and it was delicious. I recommend this restaurant

On our Monday arrival in Brilon we had a drink in the afternoon on the terrace of this centrally located restaurant, just 100 meters from our apartment. We decided to take a look at the menu as we wanted to eat in the city. We found some attractive dishes and therefore we decided to make a reservation for this night. We had already seen that this restaurant 1 was rated in Brilon. So we didn't take much of a gamble. The meal was fabulous, well cooked and with fresh ingredients, of which the seasonal pfifferlings were an important component. Also the wines were good and not too expensive, the much selection also through the glass. We even got a free dessert when we finished our main course. The experience here was so that we dinner in the same week 2 more times (Wednesday and Friday) and every time the food was equally good. The menu has a lot of choice and the servants feel like home. We had different tables in the restaurant during every visit and we enjoyed coming here every time. This is certainly a winner.

Located on the cousy square of Brilon. Easy parking nearby. Very friendly waitress and a smooth service. Great spicy goulash soup as a starter. We had very tasty main courses as well large portions price/quality=top. Meat was well prepared as requested ; Would recommend this place!

It is a typical German restaurant where you can eat well. the ambiente was cozy. outside was a very large group of people, so the service was very busy and took little care of the other guests.
