The Copper Clam - Brighton and Hove

Incredible food! Not cheap, but certainly not too expensive for the quality you get here. Very elaborate choice and more than enough portions. Also a nice decor near the sea and very kind service. Certainly for repetitive!

Fortunately, our group chose a variety of appetizers to share, allowing us to experience the diverse flavors and elegant presentation of several dishes. Each appetizer was superb, making it a fantastic restaurant to visit for expertly prepared seafood.

Door kept open upon arrival by the owners. Very warm welcome from waiting staff and owners, shown to choose tables allowed, which they even cleaned one above all in the corner for us. Then had a little chat with waitress owner, we chose a middle row of wine, but were recommended a low price. And she was here. The Verdejo was delicious! Menus where they came, everything there was amazing. We chose a few starters to share Scallops and Squid, both superb; and some main with sprouts and crabs fries to die. Mussels were fantastic and the sauce was amazing

Surprisingly good restaurant on Brighton (below) right by the sea. Table booked at The Copper Clam for Saturday lunch service. Relatively high prices were fully matched with high-quality foods (usually seafood) that you could not expect in such a tourist area. Sitting in the indoor and outdoor areas (if you like to watch how people pass). Fish with bread was excellent, not too fishy or too much tomatoes, but very tasty. Others enjoyed King Prawns, Lake Bass, monks and Sirloin Steak dishes. The service for us was very good. A slight error on the invoice was quickly fixed. I think we all agreed that this was an excellent restaurant for seafood.

I was here a few times when I visited Brighton and it's never disappointed. Service is good and waiting staff is friendly. Lobster platter is good and highly recommended. Especially on a sunny day, enjoy your seafood with a bottle of wine on the beach! Try the crabs too! Essen 8/10, Service 8/10, Ambience 8/10, Value for money 8/10.
