Thaikhun - Brighton and Hove

Had a load of friends round for the football, and trying to decide what to have being a bit of a nightmare with so much choice. But we found these guys on Deliveroo. Mixed reviews, but we weren't trying to impress our dates, we just wanted something to eat. a huge £100 order, guaranteed something should have been wrong, cold food or wrong orders. Came with 2 delivery riders, about 5- 10 minutes after the estimated time, not that any of us had even noticed. All correct, and piping hot. absolutely delicious. Silence had filed the room, always a good sign, and not a lot of sharing going on! wish we had ordered more... maybe next time. Thanks Chef!

I tried ordering some traditional dishes from this restaurant last night, despite reading some negative reviews. I was amazed by the quality and portion sizes of our takeout. I will definitely be ordering from this place again.

Quite possibly the worst Pad Thai I've ever had. Unbearably sweet and no noodles just beansprouts also the chicken was tough. I ordered pork dumplings however I didn't receive them instead I was given some plain rice...not sure if that was a mistake or replacement?! I order from Deliveroo lots and this is the first time I've been disappointed. It went in the bin and I walked over the road to get fish and chips. There are so many good Thai restaurants in Brighton and Hove this sadly is not one of them.

I ordered the Moo Prik King from Thaikhun Deliveroo Editions, which is roast pork belly with green beans and a red curry sauce The meat was so tough I could barely chew it, and it was loaded with chillis. I can handle spice, but this was too much. Also it doesn't even state on the menu that it is a very hot dish (to be honest I don't think it is meant to be) When I expressed my disappointment to Deliveroo, they told me that they couldn't give me a refund as it was a matter of personal taste? Sorry, but having standards for a curry that's cost me £15 should be expected. I also order from Deliveroo all the time, and have never complained. It ended up in the bin!!

Had the beef chilli stir fry with jasmine rice, the beef was full of flavour and it had just the right amount of chilli in it. I would highly recommend that your try Thaikhun. The delivery rider was also really friendly and polite.
