Bidra med feedbackWe stayed at the hotel where Pete's Kitchen is situated, but unfortunately, every time we tried to dine there, the kitchen was already closed - our own fault for not checking the operating hours. I think they close as early as 9pm. Based on the glowing reviews, I'm sure we missed out on a great dining experience. I feel bad leaving a potentially unfair rating, but we did have a decent buffet breakfast at the hotel.
I highly recommend this beautiful restaurant with stunning seafront and pier views. The food is delicious, especially the roast on Sundays.
I visited this restaurant last week for a Sunday roast with ten friends and everyone of us loved the food and commented on the outstanding service from the Kitchen team. The Chef and his team made a point of coming out of the kitchen to discuss the menu with us, they happily changed certain items for those who didn't want certain veg and more of the delicious roast potatoes etc and even let us sample some of the lamb before we ordered! All this was done in such a friendly, relaxed and still professional manner. And when the food arrived we all agreed that it was one of the best Sunday roasts that we have ever had. The quality, freshness and flavours of the meat, potatoes and veg were excellent and the portions were very generous. I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough and we will certainly be back. Thanks again to Pete and his team for making it such a special and enjoyable lunch.
After finding Legend's kitchen closed yesterday, I decided to visit Pete's Kitchen at the A bar in the Amsterdam Hotel. I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the burgher with cheese and side salad and Chips. The burgher and bun was flavoursome and the chunky chips some of the best I have had for a while. My friend had the cheese omelette with extra, which he also found tasty. My only complaint was the rather casual service. We had to seek out the barman to place the order and to pay the bill. Shame about that.
I ate here 2 days in a row. Scrumptious! Firstly, I had a real urge for a cooked breakfast but being as it was 6.30pm on a Saturday night didn 't hold out much hope of getting one.....popped into The Amsterdam Hotel (A Bar), even though the kitchen was all cleaned down and about to shut Pete cooked me the most stunning fry up....just what I wanted and when most places would say sorry we 're shutting the kitchen I got a first class fry up with no quibbles....just what you want as a customer somewhere going the extra mile for you. They REALLY do here. Today I 've just had the finest roast beef Sunday lunch which knocks spots off all the other pubs and eateries in the area for price, quality of ingredients and service. Come here for food and you will not be disappointed nothing is too much trouble.. I 'll be back again and again .... And again! 5* food and service
