Hove Beach Caffe - Brighton and Hove

The ice cream at this restaurant is fantastic, as are the other dishes. The atmosphere is family-friendly and cozy, with a rustic feel. We love coming back here regularly, and once you try it, you'll be hooked too.

This café, formerly known as PicNics, is a great little spot. However, since changing ownership, the quality and overall experience have declined. As a regular customer, I miss the convenience and delicious food that used to be offered. Unfortunately, during my last few visits, my breakfast has been lukewarm and greasy, and the quality of the sausage and bacon has noticeably decreased. Additionally, I prefer having my tea served in a teapot rather than a mug. I also appreciated being able to pay at the end of my meal so I could add to my bill if needed, but now the insistence on paying at the start is a bit pushy. I have not returned since my last two disappointing experiences, but I plan on giving it one more try in the future.

The carrot cake at this café was fantastic and they packed it up for me to take away. I also enjoyed a lovely cup of small batch coffee. I walked down to the beach to enjoy the sunshine. This café is a little gem.

After a hard day xmas shopping was everything I wanted to enjoy a healthy, fresh and delicious meal. Shine-Lay didn't disappoint! super tasty authentic Thai food at a reasonable price and large enough serving to save a few morsel for a snack post time. highly recommended

Shine lay is one of the best thais I've ever been. it is led by a mother and daughter who are really beautiful. they would recommend the specialties, on toast, Thai tea and everything else. have become regular in the last months!
