China Garden - Brighton and Hove

We had not visited this restaurant in some time. It used to be our favorite Chinese restaurant in Brighton. It was quite busy and the service was okay, but nothing exceptional. There were three of us and we ordered four separate starters, but they all arrived on one plate, which was unexpected. We also ordered Crispy Duck as a second course and it arrived very quickly, but was not very hot. Our main dishes did not arrive at the same time and once again, the food was not hot. I believe this may be due to the fact that they are very busy and a lot of the food is pre-cooked, which is unfortunate.

We had a fantastic lunch at this restaurant. The service was attentive, although one of the waitresses was a bit blunt. The Chinese food was delicious and authentic. A staff member recommended dishes based on our preferences, and the food was fresh, hot, and very enjoyable. We can't wait to come back for another meal soon!

Good quality Chinese restaurant near the big hotels on the promenade , tasty food, big portions, reasonable price. Will certainly visit again.

Everything looks great, but we ultimately decided not to eat here. The low food rating made us reconsider, especially since we had to look it up online and it wasn't displayed on the door as we would have expected. We won't eat at a place with such a low food rating.

Lovely dinner and attentive staff. Is accessible in a manual wheelchair but no disabled toilet (Although I was told about this while booking)
