Bidra med feedbackJust came back from a beautiful drive and fantastic brunch at Stoney Point Marina. Approximate minute drive north of Peterborough. Discovered that Hobart’s is the name operating the restaurant. Meal selections varied from Hamburgers, to Panini to Shrimp wrap in Caesar salad. All items...came with the signature salad of Mandarin Orange slices, slivered Almonds on a bed of romaine lettuce and their delicious house dressing. Meals were accompanied with either Beer or Wine. Lots of boats in and out of the Marina. Enjoyed the outdoor patio shaded from the sun but felt the lovely breeze. Easy access from side of road allows you to pull up if using a wheelchair or walker. Washrooms also accessible. Service was fast and friendly. Only drawback for me was the tables and chairs on the patio could use a footstool if you are height challenged like myself. Inside tables and chairs are regular height but have a sweater or jacket because of the air conditioning.
"The staff at this restaurant is fantastic! Their hand-cut fish and chips are the best, paired perfectly with a delicious beer. The location is nice and all the people there are so friendly."
This restaurant is a captivating spot with plenty to explore. It offers a tranquil and calming atmosphere, with a variety of boats available to rent for those looking to venture out onto the water. It is also a great destination for hiking or simply unwinding.
I recently enjoyed a lovely outing at Stoney Point Marina with a delicious brunch at Hobarts restaurant. Located about a 40-minute drive north of Peterborough, Hobarts offers a variety of meal options including hamburgers, paninis, and shrimp caesar salad. Each dish comes with a signature salad featuring Mandarin orange slices, toasted almonds, and a tasty homemade dressing. Guests can enjoy their meals with a choice of beer or wine while watching boats come and go from the marina. The outdoor terrace provides a shaded spot to relax with a refreshing breeze. The restaurant is easily accessible from the street, with facilities for wheelchair users and walkers. The service was quick and friendly, although I found the tables and chairs on the terrace to be a bit challenging for someone of my height. The interior seating is standard height, so it's advisable to bring a sweater or jacket due to the air conditioning.
We had a wonderful meal here, parrillada for two I am not usually much of a meat eater but this was delicious.
