The Salt Room - Brighton

We came on Sunday, December 19th to celebrate our first jubilee and it was the first time that we came to her restaurant. we had the scallops and oktopus and swarms for starters followed by a surfboard for 1 and healed. eating was absolutely stunning! we had makkaron for pudding with a glass prosecco and we especially appreciate the chocolate font that wished us a happy jubilee. thanks to the whole team that we make our day special, we will be back.

The service in the salt room was impeccable. our waitress was very attentive and gave great menu suggestions. the fish dishes are the highlight of this ortes. cocktails and desserts selection are excellent and tasty.

My partner and I had an event to celebrate and were led by a friend who recommended it as a “special place” to the salt room. she wasn't wrong. I made the dinge complicated by ordering flowers for our evening booking from a local florist earlier in the day, and a bottle prosecco in advance - but the restaurant staff did a good work to ensure that they waited for us at the table when we arrived for our meal. the food was excellent. exactly what I expected from a restaurant at the sea. I will not go too much detail, but enough to say that as someone who enjoyed some spectacular seafood on the north coast of Spain, I appreciated the quality of the ingredients. scallops, garnel, utter. so fresh, and beautiful (light) prepared. the personal was friendly and attentive, especially the Gentleman server with clips, which ensured that we were never left with an empty glass, and if there was a delay, he let us know why. the only disadvantage was that they had fled completely from broth, so that we were not able to mix sauces. this was the only disappointment of the night, and a small one. the prices were approx. £90 per head (including a bottle prosecco) for 3 courses. a solid enough show, altogether, but apart from the company I had brought, it was the warm of the hospitality that made the evening special.

Traveled by east croydon for a celebrity dinner and we were not disappointed. eating was delish and every cure just came at the right time. our waiter finley was great to explain the speciality. very recommended and will visit again.

A great restaurant. The view is amazing as it's straight on the seafront and the old pier. The food and their cocktails are incredible. We got the seafood plater and was delicious we had reservations in advance...prices is expected for such a classy high quality restaurant.
