Popped into the cafe for coffee and cake as it was raining. Understandably very busy. Poor selection of food suitable for vegans. Had a piece of delicious vegan carrot cake and coffee with oat milk. This place succeeds because there is no competition here. The food is boring, the service is glaciel, it doesn't function efficiently. The guy behind the counter was so helpful and friendly it actually crossed over into being a hindrance to good service, just stop over explaining and offering multiple options it's not necessary. Queued for 15 minutes, waited 30 minutes for food to arrive. What complicated delicacy took such lengthy preparation? A bowl of soup and a serving of wedges!!
