Bidra med feedbackI eat at Magic wok many times. They have great Chinese food.I usually order the noodles but the combinations are great too. Its located inside the Bridgewater Mall. Prices are reasonable. I would recommend this place to others.
We always go to the Magic Wok when we are back in Bridgewater visiting friends and family. It is unexpected to find food this good in a mall. The combos are good, my kids love them, but the best stuff has to be ordered off the chef specials menu. It takes a few minutes longer and cost a few dollars more but is so worth it.Good to know, they don't take credit cards - cash and debit only.
I arrive order from menus, and she served me from a steam table. I, picked up my tray when I went inside to sit and eat. The chicken balls was about 1" in diameter, more chicken then batter, the honey garlic ribs, all 3 of them had more bone and grizzl then meat, and were a little dry. The friend rice was good, fresh with veg mixed in. Egg roll,,was more pasty, over cooked, it was like eating toco as soon as you cut in it broke up in peaces. As well on the small side, it did not have much filling. Tast wise ,it tasted good. Over all presentation was not best, I seen better laid out plate with out sauce over the side. The fork well egg roll made me loose 1 of the Fort,s peaces, and the knife was so flimsy it was difficult using. Price wise it was fairly priced. The dish was hot and not room temperature.
Very quick service with lots of choice. Excellent egg rolls. A favorite of mine is Chow Samsee which many places do not offer. They do a fabulous job!
I just get the combo with rice, chicken balls, sweet and sour ribs, and an egg roll. The place is quiet and quaint, and the service is ordinary, but I love the Canadian Chinese classics in this dish; washed down with a diet soda sold at a premium of course!
